urko
Hi, I have just downloaded oscomemrce (Linux version ) and uploaded it to my host provider which supports php and mysql. As I wanted to start installation program I get this error: Not FoundThe requested URL /cgi-bin/php/catalog/install/install.php was not found on this server. As I don't know much of .php I would need some advise. Thanks,
♥Vger
Where did you upload osCommerce too? Did you upload the 'catalog' folder to the root of your web, or into the cgi-bin? Vger

Mercy
I am having the same problem. What does it mean when you mention: "I talked to my host provider and he forget to put cgi-bin folder with .php file in. Now it works fine."? What do I tell the host provider to do? Is it part of the php installation on the server? I have copied the files into the root directory of the website. To test I created a file called index.htm and put it in the /catalog/install directory and I was able to access it - so it must be a setup issue.
