Bypassing "What's In My Cart?"

Does anyone know how I could set up my cart, to bypass the "What's In My Cart?" screen?

What I want users to do is to add product to their shopping cart, without having to see the "What's In My Cart?" screen and then have to click "Continue Shopping" to purchase other products.

I would alos like them to return to the product category page, after they click on "add to cart".

I personally feel this would give the user a more streamlined shopping experience, especially when buying a lot of products, such as books, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

you can disable view cart after adding a product in your admin.

Thanks Julian.

So simple, but I just totally missed that. >_<

Ok, so that stops the cart being displayed.

But if a customer is in the product description screen, is there a way to send the user back to the category or products list, rather than have them just remain on the product description page?

Also, is there a way to make the "buy now" option just a checkbox feature, so a customer could review a product list and check the ones to add to the cart, so they can make multiple selectins from the one page?

I like the kind of approach on these sites: Paladin Comics Example

Mail Odrers Comics (not an oscommerce site)

I also like the way Midtown Comics? allow you to add to the cart, and change the "buy now" to "in the bag" once it has been selected for the cart.

Any ideas out there?
