Order received but not coming up in orders section, only customer section

Works perfectly for me when I go do a test run.

 

I've just had an order placed, the order doesn't show up in the "orders" section of admin, only the "customers" section of admin. So I can't even see what the customer ordered.

 

Plus, they paid using PayPal - all I have is a notification from PayPal saying that the customer has paid $X (no order number, no order contents).

 

Does anyone know what could be causing these 2 problems? I'd really appreciate it as I have just gone live!

I have the same problem with orders not showing in "orders" but "customers" information does appear.

I found a post that said install the "master password" contribution so that you can log in to the customer's account and view their orders. I did that, but there was no orders to be viewed in the customers account (great). So I've now found another post that says install the "paypal ipn" contribution. I'm just about to do that and I'll keep you updated.
