rubygirl
Hello - I am trying to add some more functionality to the search area inside the admin area - I need to be able to include the attributes in the search area - for example -currently if I type in necklace - I get all the necklace products which is fine - however my attributes which may for example relate to size are not searched - so if I enter 18" as an attribute I would like all products with 18" as an attribute to be listed. Or if there are 6 names that are listed as attributes - I want to be able to check and see what has been chosen - I guess this could even be something that only searches orders as well - may sound confusing but if anyone is willing to point me in the right direction - I am more than happy to elaborate for more clarification. let me use this is a clearer explanation: I use many different types of attributes - radio, dropdown, text entries, etc - to help customize products. Now when I order products - I prefer to order in bulk - so if I can search and see which products were purchased with the text attribute of "Bob" and/or a radio choice of Red for example - and have all the Bob text attribute orders displayed - then I can order 6 Bob products and 5 Red products which is easier for the supplier instead of 11 individual orders. did that help? I don't need this on the catalog side - just the admin side -any idea on where to start? thanks!
rubygirl
okay here is a simpler question - where do I add the search query to include attributes in the admin area?
