ive got to be the only person on here with absolutely no background in php or hosting so ill just be blunt and hide behind the pseudonym.

 

is there an idiot proof guide to installation of this thing?

i get stuck on step one (create a blank db)

im working on my boss' domain hosted by tripod/lycos and thought this wouldnt be too too hard, but ive asked two other people that already run php domains to help me and theyre in the dark..

 

any out there patient?

It looks like you can then. Although reading the posts on that page it also seems like people have some trouble using php on lycos/tripod so its up to you :)
