louisjr99
I have an ssl certificate on my server, and I made the changes in the 2 configure.php files. When I go to the website and try to checkout or I go to the admin page, I do not get switched to the https server. The checkout stays as http: I can change to the https myself and it seems to work except the images are all missing. Please let me know what I need to do. Thanks Website address is www.direct-connect-store.com

Thanks Website address is www.direct-connect-store.com What changes did you make, and what configure.php files did you make the changes in. I am having a problem with my directories not including the www. in the link to the secure pages, and the browser brings up an error saying the certificate is invalid, and could not be verified. My host says this is because the entire address: including the www. is not being used in the directory. Any suggestions, I did not make any changes in the configure.php files, other than checking the Use SSL in the configure category upon initiation...and it automaticallly goes to https:// my site.com
louisjr99
I made changes in the 2 configure.php files, the first one is located in /catalog/includes/, the second is in the /catalog/admin/includes/ . Do a search in the knowledge base for SSL and you will see a listing where they tell you exactly what to do, but basically, just go to those two files and fill in your domain name wherever it has the https path references. The one for the cookies does not include the www, but you will see that referenced in the knowledge base listing. I just checked and it looks like my files were not updated on the server, I may have not uploaded the changed files. I will get back.
