new installation (access denied)

i've this problem:

 

New Installation

 

Database Import

 

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

 

The error message returned is:

 

Access denied for user: '[email protected]' (Using password: YES)

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company.

what is the problem ?

you must use the correct username and password to access the database

I'm having this same problem as well. Has it worked for you yet? I know I'm entering the same username and password as I use for my other database. It's kinda driving me nuts!

oops :blush: Never mind. I gave up and installed manually (and it only took me about an hour to figure out how to do it! :thumbsup: )
