Guest
Is there a way to store the card number so that the customer does not have to enter it everytime they shop at the website? Thanks
RKing
Ohhhhh nnooooooo.... I would really recommend that you not try to implement this feature for several reasons. Not to say that it is not possible I am sure it is but are you sure that you want to take the responsibility of every customers CC #??? Image if your site got hacked.... Your database could be vulnerable.... Which means your customers data could also... If someone gets their hands on your customers CC #'s and it is tracable to your site then you could be liable. (Of course i am not a lawyer but I am sure you wouldn't want that kind of responsibility). You will also find that most CC merchants forbid the local storing of CC #'s. I am sorry that I am so negative about this but being a web developer I couldn't just step over this message without response. Good luck on your endevours and hope your store does well. rk
Guest
What about sites such as Paly.com and Amazon.co.uk - They use this method?
