Anyway, I need some real constructive critism that I can actually use to improve my site, so dont be apprehensive at all, with your feedback. If there is supposd to be a logo there, then the link is not working. If not, you might want to consider putting something there or decrease the size of the header to reduce the empty look. The black seems so strong against the green orange and white. When you click on available products, the color of the box doesnt match the other colors of your boxes. You should change that. Also, I see you can only buy if you create an account. That might be a deterrent so beware. Overall the site looks alright. Its stock oscommerce with color adjustments. Goodluck! Let me know, MY STORE The header is being displayed correctly, i will be adding a graphic of some sort (mabey flash) softly blending in and out of photos of angkor wat (temple) and cambodian locals, i thought it would look more subtle with the black and make my colors stand out. For example imagine how your site would look if you just removed the infoboxheading black, to white for instance. I think I remember you could choose between have the PWA layout side by side or in a column. Look at the contribution instructions and it will tell you how to change that. Thanks for the praise, the basic template is from a contrib - the flower designs i just kinda added, wasn't sure if they looked alright or not....after seeing this site for the hundredth time, my eyes just get desenitized and can't pick up on anything anymore. Anyway, i added some pictures to the header, and a temporary text of my company name - the color (currently green) doens't seem to fit right for me. Any suggestions? What throws it off if the menu on the side, it is orangy, if it was green or a color that complemented the site then your store name color would not look off. Yep, im right with you on the title, i actually was fiddleing with adding "KSILKS" -Delievering Cambodian Products worldwide. But i just cant seem to get a decent color scheme or at least one i liked. Part of the issue is that my products are all a variety of bright colorful colors. I thought the black background would make the products stick out even more...but who knows. I will try to do some things with the header now. I'm looking at your header and you have this gray metallic bar across it. Could you crop this image and make it your box header, adding different text for each box? This would be a great way to give your site some distinction. 2: Make sure you change the stylesheet.css to reflect your new color scheme. For instance your product listing page is the stock color scheme. Also, regardless if you use the box header idea you should think about changing the boxes and tables from the black that you have. I think a gray would be a better choice given the color of your header graphic, which by the way looks great. You could think about keeping the black up top but I would still change the black on the boxes. I think it's too harsh. Your product images look great, very clean and professional. Which shocks me because you have quite a few infoboxs around. Usually sites that have that many infoboxes look too crowded and busy. The site loaded real fast on my machine, so that was a plus as well. I think your product listing colors could me made more grey instead of the default osC colors to better blend with your site, but it's not bad. Install Country-State Selector. I find it really annoying when the default country and state list isn't already populated. And do you really sell to all those countries. Maybe you should get rid of some of them. I know that you have a home link in your header, but I would make the whole header banner hot. Get rid of the Manufactures box. You still have some default data in there. It just doesn't add anything to your site. I also think that the notifications and tell a friend infoboxes are useless as well. I would just get rid of them alltogether. All and all, not bad. I how that is some constructive critisim. osCommerce is a great piece of software with wonderful contributions. Spend some time in the contribution area. There are a lot of gems there. (adding images instead of the stock osc headers?) - if not, perhaps you could suggest a tutorial if there is one out there....i'll find it eventually, but if you could help that'd be much appreciated.
