modal Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Hello, I have searched across the forum b4 posting a new query. I couldn't spot anything that quite applied to my problem tho' I checked out and followed up quite a few in desperation... When I click on Modules-Shipping in the admin tool I get the following error messages: Warning: main(/home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/product_listing.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/admin/modules.php on line 128 Warning: main(/home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/product_listing.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/admin/modules.php on line 128 Warning: main(): Failed opening '/home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/product_listing.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/admin/modules.php on line 128 Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 3 by reference in /home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/includes/modules/shipping/product_listing.php on line 13 I checked my site and the product_listing.php file did not exist in that location. However a copy of product_listing.php does exist in /home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/includes/languages/english/modules/ I tried copying this and now get the last error message only (which makes sense as the file at least exists!). Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 3 by reference in /home/doyley11/public_html/eshop/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/product_listing.php on line 13 I assume the file I copied is not the right one. At this point I'm pretty much stuck. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks. MarkW
modal Posted October 23, 2005 Author Posted October 23, 2005 okay so no replies to date to this little conundrum .... to be blunt, I'm stuck with a complete turkey of a solution that doesn't work properly through no fault of my own as the shipping modules section does not appear to have installed correctly and I can find no clear guidance on how I can even begin to try and correct this. I've already wasted literally hours trawling through the 100K+ posts on this forum to no avail. To anyone directly involved in OSCommerce - this is extremely frustrating to put it mildly. I'll try another tack - I may be able to get by for now with a Flat rate shipping cost. Currently the checkout_shipping page dsiplays the following: "This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order. Flat Rate Best Way $5.00" I've tried tracing back through the functions etc which are used on this page but I cannot work out where the hell its getting this information from - I've determined that it looks like its finding no modules installed (which is correct ) but then it seems to be generated by the tep_add_tax function...???! If I can change this I'll have a solution. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'll be very, very grateful. Cheers MarkW
modal Posted October 24, 2005 Author Posted October 24, 2005 THIS THREAD CLOSED - PROBLEM FIXED Have finally managed to get the shipping back to its "default" state so can now at least access the basic shipping options correctly which I couldn't before. MarkW
