lee30 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Hi everyone, I have just installed oscommerce (purchased template version) on my server. Everything went smoothly and then I began to customize the template, then something went wrong and I recieved errors. Because this was a new install I decided to re-install the program instead of looking for the error in the files. Now after the re-install when I enter the control panel all text within the configuration section is repeated 3 times i.e. Session Directory /tmp Session Directory /tmp Session Directory /tmp Force Cookie Use False Check SSL Session ID False Check SSL Session ID False Check SSL Session ID False Check User Agent False Check User Agent False Check User Agent False Force Cookie Use and so on... Could then be a problem within the database or is the problem within the root files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Lee
♥Vger Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 The problem will be in the database. You need to connect to it using phpMyAdmin and look for the duplicate entries - which may all come under the Configuration table. Once you find them delete (drop) the latest additions. Vger
lee30 Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Thanks for the fast response, I have fixed the problem and I am up and running again. Kind Regards, Lee
