Installation step 1- nothing happens

oscommerce2.2ms2 on solaris 10 w/ apache 2.0.52 & php 5.0.4

 

New installation

 

When I get to the page right after that, the one with import catalog database & automatic configuration, when I hit continue the page refreshes and nothing else happens.

 

configure.php set to 777

 

Any ideas?

php5 compatibility problem. On line 31 of admin/includes/classes/upload.php look for $this = null; and change it to unset($this);

 

If that doesn't help do a forum search for php5 and it will show up a lot of possible problems. If this is your own dedicated server then change to php4.3.11
