Godaddy SSL

so i have an SSL turbo from godaddy.com. i got installed and all works good. the only thing that is not good is when i go into the secure area i get a popup saying that its not a trusted company. i get this bot under IE & modzilla. Does anyone know how i can get rid of this.?

In application top change:

well that took care of getting rid of the warning when i click checkout and the admin section. but if im at the homepage and click my account i still get it.

it's definitely not the ssl because I use the same, GoDaddy SSL on my site and I don't get any of those....

It probably has to do with the code when you click that link. Switching from non-ssl to sll.

All that stuff is OK, your ssl certificate is not properly installed it's not an osC issue.

i had it installed 2 times till it worked. its only on the shopping cart link it shows up warning not a trusted company.

An ssl error. You could remove all osC files completely from the server and you'll still have this problem.

I reinstalled the certs. I dont know if i did it right still or not. no one can tell me for sure. godaddy says i have to install 2 of them. there cert for trusted and then another one they assign me. this is confusing me like crazy.

Your certificate is issued to localhost.localdomain instead of www.yoursite thus the errors.

 

What you need is to set up your site properly. do a test on dnsstuff.com, generate reports, and it would list out all settings required for DNS, CNAME, A records etc and suggest the changes required.

 

At this moment, it is purely due to configuration / setting of your site records and certificate installation.
