Adding drop-down list to order page

I need to add a couple drop-down boxes to my order page so the customer can choose the size they want, etc. There selection then needs to be emailed with the order.

 

Is there a module already made for doing this sort of thing? I can't find one.

This is part of standard OSC. Go to Admin -> Catalog ->Products Attributes

 

I will save you a little time and explain how this works.

 

There are 2 top boxes (Product Options & Products Values) and one lower box (Products Attributes)

 

Under Product Options is where you want to add things such as Color & Size. So, in the first box under en: (english) or es: (espanol) enter: Size then hit Insert. Repeat this step, except enter Color.

 

Then under Option Values, select Size in the dropdown box and then put Small in appropriate language box, hit insert. You can continue adding for Size until you have all of your options completed (medium, large,etc.) In the same box you can select Color, and add all of your colors.

 

Then down in product attributes choose the product you want to apply this to. Then choose size in the next dropdown box, and enter a value price. I would suggest making small your standard price, so enter 0 here and leave the + sign in the next box. Hit insert.

 

Then you can repeat the same step, except choose medium and put 5 or whatever extra you want to charge for a bigger size, leave + in the next box and hit insert. You can continue this step for color as well. Enter 0 for value for colors to make them no extra charge.

 

Note: The first values you enter will be the defaults, for example, Small and Red. These should have no additional value from your retail price. Only if they choose other options should it affect the price. That is my opinion anyway.
