Do i need a 301/302 redirect page ?

Hello

 

I seem to be getting a lot of hits on the 301 and 302 redirect pages, i guess this would be down to me have a bad crash and reinstalling the site last month and not adding back them pages.

 

Ive heard that not having a 301/302 redirect page on your site can be a bad thing, i have look at my site and can not find one, i do have 400,401,403,404 and a 500 but no others, does that sound right ?

 

Anyway, any advice would be great on this matter
