Guest Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 HI Friends & Colleagues In our little osC shop, ...we have: Our Task: We need to carry products from different countries which you can purchase in any of several currencies in our shop: either 'local' currency or another (the bank makes the appropriate conversion at time of sale) Our Idea: 1) We make each country & its 'Products' a unique country-specific CATEGORY, with 'local products 2) Thus, Each country~CATEGORY has its own local PRODUCTS with a 'price,' listed/displayed in "Local Currency" if you are looking at the products in their home country 'environment'(local CATEGORY) <><><> >A) How do we make /save /display each CATEGORY's 'local' products in the right local currency >B) How to Make Sure that osC displays the approximate conversion rate if you change currencies for your display (i.e., you want to buy it from 'there,' but you are 'here' and need to pay with local money from 'here' ~so you need to know roughly what it will cost in your money from 'here'). >C) What currency auto-update contribution is recommended, please? ideas??? ???????? How do we do this, please? ~~~To review~~~ Local PRODUCTS from each country~CATEGORY, ...displayed on the 'home page' country~CATEGORY in their "Local Currency" (((sure, sometimes you can see them listed in other country~CATEGORIES, but the 'pricing' should stick or somehow convert))) Simple, but how do we do it please???
