I need to add payment options for my website. Where do I start?

 

The payment options I will accept will be:

Paypal

Paymate

Direct deposit

 

What file do I edit, and how do I do it?

 

I know that there are contributions for paymate and paypal - are they safe to download, and is it a simple process?

Well as far as Paypal is concerned OSC team has developed oscommerce Paypal IPN contribution which is a good one.Download and place it in catalog>>includes>>modules>>payment plus follow theinstall instructin.
