elpollodiablo Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Hope this is the right forum for this, but... I'm setting up a new shop for a customer and I'm not sure the best way to go about setting up the products for pricing. Basically, a few of the products come just as kits, but most have the option of Kit (more expensive) or Chart (cheaper). Now, my customer would like the default option to be Kit and then to be able to specifically choose Chart if the purchaser prefers that option. Unfortunately, I don't think it looks quite right to have the Chart option displaying the difference in price between Kit & Chart preceeded by a minus (-) sign. This could confuse some people and doesn't make the Chart price very clear at all until it's in the basket. So (finally getting to the point...), is there a better way to do this? The customer wants to keep Kit & Chart as options for each product as opposed to Kit being a separate product from Chart but I don't think having a negative difference price displaying is the best business way to do it. Is there a way to display the Chart's price next to it in the options list and still have the correct price in the basket?
