erikwoods Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 I have seen a site that uses flash buttons for "my account" and "checkout" links and I was wondering how I could do this with flash. Is there just a simple line of code that needs to be put in the getURL address section of the action script? I'm a little new to this so I hope I don't get flamed for asking. I have searched the forums but I have found that rarely do I find what I'm looking for by using the forum search. Thanks to anyone who can help.
erikwoods Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 I'm an idiot. It's so simple. Sorry to bother you guys. I'm still learning about this. Bare with me.

Hey, can you let the rest of us "idiots" in on it ;) I'm searching the forum also and coming up with a couple things, but if you've found the definitive answer, do tell. Thanks!
erikwoods Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 For My Account, it's as simple as using "account.php" as the link for cart contents, it's "shopping_cart.php" for Checkout it's "checkout_shipping.php" I'm sure you could figure out any other ones if you needed to. i hope that helps.
Wendy James Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 If you are just linking directly to the pages, check to be sure your shopping cart doesn't empty when you use the links. :) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
erikwoods Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 Whoa you're right. I never tested that. So what are the correct links to be using? I mean is it okay to use shopping_cart.php?osCsid=c6da39e506c5b805deab66e70672ab7b? I just figured that won't work because it looks like the link changes. How do other people do the flash buttons then?

erikwoods Posted October 17, 2005 Author Posted October 17, 2005 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2378 Thanks- I'll check it out in more detail when I get home and after I finally get some rest. It looks like exactly what I've been looking for. I'll be sure to post any questions if I have any.
