more info in products name info, where???

hello titch here , i have looked at contribs but a bit lost,

 

i need to get more words in the products name as their is not quite enough,

 

had one description of a product that came to about 65 characters in word, does any body no how to increase this,

The products name field is 64 characters by default. You can change that through your phpMyAdmin by going to the products description table and alter the field length for products_name to something bigger.

cheers ive had a look , is this easy to do and, what do i do with the null and default columns values, and if i change this ,is it just a matter of changing it back,

No, only changes the field length for the name, leave the rest as is. After you changed it to something larger you can fill in more characters. If you ever going to change it back to 64 characters you will of course loose the information partly for those names exceeding 64 characters.
