Problem with Migration to new server - Could be configs

I had to move a store from a server with a dedicated ip address to one which is on a virtual server. The host is going out of business. The problem needs to be solved as this is a live website which has been working for more than 4 years.

 

After the migration, The shopping cart loads and works perfectly until I go to the checkout when it fails.

I also cannot get the admin to load at all.

I think the problem may be that I may have failed to change a path in one or more of the config files. The sql and absolute paths are very different on the new server.

How many config files are there?

Can someone point out how many need changing and in which folders the config.php files are located?

Are there other config files besides config.php that would need to be changed/

Is there a list of all the configs somewhere which I could reference.

I solved it. It was the config files. A couple still had the old paths and urls.
