we are new to the ecommerce end of webdesign and purchased your program. how do we make a product database to upload. what program do we use. thanks

Hope you didn't pay much as this is OS standing for Open Source (freeware in essence). :huh:

 

As far as the database, you need to make sure your hosting server grants you the ability to run a MySQL database.

 

If it does, create a database and master user for your shopping cart.

 

Once that is established, you will need to go to your phpmyadmin pannel if one in under your databases in your hosting co.'s CP for your site, and upload the included oscommerce.sql file into your database.
