I can't add a language...

I have a new OSC installation and when I go to the admin section I see the name of categories and products only in one language, if I try to edit and add the name in another language it just won't upload the changes. I can add a picture but cannot add the name in another language... isn't it weird?

just to be on the safe side, post that file anyway ... and in addition, I'd like to see what your languages table in admin looks like ... just copy the text from there too.

Just out of curiosity, you have defined the languages correctly in admin/languages?

The only thing I did was to delete the german language which I didn't need and change the default language from english to spanish, that's all.

I have replaced the admin/categories.php file with a new one, but the problem persists.

Apart from that file, does anyone know what other files are involved when you set the language for a category in the admin section?

I'd like to replace some of my files to see if I can fix the problem before I have to reinstall the whole thing...

I can't add a language...
