using STS

I've got STS installed and now need to use it to establish a template in Dreamweaver. To use STS I'm supposed to change the file: /catalog/includes/sts_template.html to whatever I want. I have two files by this name under the includes folder - one in the "mysite" folder and the other in the "osc" folder.

 

1) Why do I have 2 files by this name, and

2)which of these two files do I change?

3)Do I just "get" the file from my host's server and manipulate it locally, then upload it again to the server???

 

 

- Getting desperate and frustrated in my ignorance, I would appreciate very much any/every comment or suggestion...!
