WYSIWYG Editor 1.7 is Very SICK

HI we installed WYSIWYG Editor 1.7 twice, finally on a clean install and rebuilt everything (UGH) but it is still sick. We get strange HEADER_blabla type title bars and the drop down box (for langauges selection, I think) on the upper right is only 1cm wide and never has language titles.

Can someone who knows this contribution please take a look at this please and/or tell me what is wrong? We need to install numerous language contributions... I'll be happy to sent the url if anyone is interested to look...
