table problem

in firefox, my site looks the way i want it to (in a 750 px width table)

 

in internet explorer, my site stretches to about 95% of the browser window

 

how can i fix this?

i've already tried to enclose another table, even trying to shrink it to 400px to align everything up, but that didn't work either

18 errors, but nothing that would break tables. mostly telling me using the thumbnails is bad and such

Not a lot to go on without a link - could be something to do with the table border model differences between the 2 if the difference is really small.
