Box around column left

Hello Everybody,

 

I am working on customizing an OSC site and want to create a box around column_left. I have figured out how to make the individual boxes disappear in the CCS. but now I think I should define the navigation with a box. It would be nice to create a style so that it is easily changed.

 

Could someone help me to figure out the code?

 

Sorry to bother, but I am just hacking at this instead learning to make it sing.
