Display Free Shipping plus other Shipping Methods Together

Currently if a user buys products which are over the free shipping threshold, free shipping becomes the one and only shipping option for the customer.

 

This is obviously a problem is the shop owner has several shipping methods and still wants the user to be able to select them even if they qualify for free shipping.

 

I once found a thread about this on the forums but as far as I remember it was never resolved plus I can't see to find it again.

 

Does anyone know how to display ALL other shipping methods plus the free shipping one if they qualify for it?

 

I've been messing around with checkout_shipping.php but I can't get it to work. I can get the other shipping methods to appear but regardless of whether they are selected or not there shipping cost does not carry over.

 

I'm going to keep fiddling with the code but has anyone found a solution to this? If so, I'd LOVE to see your code =D Please post it here, message it to me, or e-mail it to me. PLEASE!

However, this doesn't work. The free shipping always remains the selected option and won't change. I'll keep looking into it some more.
