Guest Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 When I click on specials in admin, I get the following error: Specials 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-20, 20' at line 1 select p.products_id, pd.products_name, p.products_price, s.specials_id, s.specials_new_products_price, s.specials_date_added, s.specials_last_modified, s.expires_date, s.date_status_change, s.status from products p, specials s, products_description pd where p.products_id = pd.products_id and pd.language_id = '1' and p.products_id = s.products_id order by pd.products_name limit -20, 20 [TEP STOP] I am trying to add the MSRP contribution and did the first step of: Add a new field to the products table to hold the MSRP value. ALTER TABLE `products` ADD `products_msrp` DECIMAL( 15, 4 ) NOT NULL AFTER `products_image` ; The site is running just fine except that I tried to find out just where I am supposed to put in the MSRP. Couldn't find it, clicked on Specials and discovered the above error. Any volunteers?
♥stubbsy Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Here's your fix... http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=144095 its to do with an update to your SQL version not the fact that you were installing a contribution as I found out :)
