Guest Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 hey all a small problem which i am sure is a simple one but because i am a newbie im not sure and i thought it would be best to ask... i am trying to change the colour of the bars - i mean the top bar that has - catalog ----- the down the line ------- my account | cart contence | Checkout.... same with the bar at the bottom of the page with the date and hits since etc...... plus all the box headings ?? are you able to change one colour in the site and it will be picked up by all of these areas ?? can someone please point me in the right direction ? Pete The colours you refer to are controlled by the stylesheet. You only need to edit the classes in there. To make life simple download firefox and then search for firefox plugins. There is a plugin that allows you to mouse over the elements of the web page and see thier class name. you can then edit the correct one. f5
