I still have some work to do on this site but looking for some thoughts:

http://www.whitelilies.co.uk/catalog

I know about the following issues:

No SSL (waiting for host)

No images for slave products (waiting for image licence)

slightly long (stock) osc checkout (any advice?)

NOCHEX payment only (waiting for confirmation on sandbox test of merchant account)

odd spelling mistakes!

I applauded you for trying to make it your own and certainly something I haven't seen before. But, I honestly found it tremendously difficult to use. I seemed to be wondering where I was and couldn't seem to find a way to actually add something to my cart. Perhaps for what you sell, you need this level of complexity, but keep in mind your clients. Are they high paid wedding planners that might be used to this type of product layout. Or are your customers a future bride with daddy's credit card.

Of course there is the chance that I just don't get it...

Thanks for the feedback!

OK obviously something I need to think about!

Can you explain what you mean by complexity so I can try to resolve? (Do you mean the navigation, or how to purchase products?)

The principle was that most people usually look for the item they want by colour, however I simply dont have a picture of every design in every colour (i think there would be 400+ styles to take photographs of, and many would be very similar). Therefore I tried to put in this middle level to allow people to find a picture of the shape/design but in a different colour.

Also in the past with the add ons (i.e sweets etc), I used to just have the name of the product and then attributes i.e. Tea Rose -> Lilac, but I had so many people contact me to ask what "pink" looked like that I felt it would be better to show an image of each.

I think with the buy button it maybe be because it is at the very bottom of the page? Any advice on how I could move this elsewhere? YEs I think this is probably an issue, the button is right at the bottom and isnt particularly easy to spot!

I liked it personally but as pointed out usability is not the easiest.

Broken link on the "catalogues" button at the bottom..

Not keen on having to scroll right down to the bottom of that huge list of products just to click the add to cart button, took me a while to figure it out.

Thanks, yes that button does seem a problem to be honest! Ill need to figure out a fix for that

Forgot to mention that the catalogues request doesnt work. Meant to fix last night but completely forgot!

Also in the checkout part I am not particularly bothered about people regsitering and therefore I have added PWA but not sure if i couldnt just by pass this altogether and send them to the enter details screen
