Easypopulate inventory file upload prob

Thank you in advance for the solution.

 

Im only posting this after almost an hour of reading EP support replies. I CANNOT find this solution and its probably very easy. Ive fixed the $doc_root, Ive increase db field lengths, Ive verified tab delimited as default.

 

When I upload my tab dem txt data file it says....

 

Easy Populate 2.76-MS2 - Default Language : English(1)

 

Filename: 8PickSendDistributingACTIVE.txt

So only the first item uploaded. But even then the description did not get populated into the database. Only the category and product name is visible in the catalog not the other fields.

 

IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN LET ME KNOW WHAT TO CHECK TO FIX THIS?

I am having the very same problem, sneaking around this forum searching for the golden answer to this but to no avail :/

 

my EP says:

i have only the neccessary fields to update stock and price, following structure on file is :

but as mentioned above, only the first product is updated.

I have tested with tab delimited and semi delimited file and the result have been the same always :(

also tried to only tweak the numbers on EP's own tab delimited file and no result there either.

 

IMO it seems that EP does not really recognize the EOREOR field or only once from the product fields to the first product then it dies.

i have RTFM several times and im not getting any wiser so i want help on this topic too.

read the contribution support topic and you will see you are probably using php5, which is not compatible, without you modifying your easypopulate.php file, the fix is in the support thread. which is where questions should be posted.
