Dollars to Pounds

i want to change the currency to pounds but in the currency section theres only dollars and euros...

In Admin go to the 'Localization' section and click on the 'new currency' button.

 

Then you need to add the title (Pounds, Pounds Sterling or whatever you want it to be called etc) then the CODE needs to be 'GBP' (without the quote marks), the SYMBOL LEFT needs to be '?', DECIMAL POINT needs to be '.', THOUSANDS POINT needs to be ',', DECIAML PLACES needs to be '2' and VALUE needs to be '1'

 

You then need to make this the default currency and then delete the other two currencies if you don't want your customers to be able to select an alternative currency.

 

If you DO want the other currencies then you need to click on the 'Update Currencies' button which will make the other currencies be related to your default currency.
