Guest Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Hello! 1st thanks for taking time to try and help! I am a total newbie @ this, I am trying to setup an online shop. So far so good (I have the site up and the install went very well.) I am now trying to import my database into the shop but I cant seem to get it to work. The data base is being given to me from a 3rd party, in the format xml. My server is using Sql. Is it possible to use the two together / convert what I have? Please help, if there are questions that need to be asked to help me get the answer to my question then please ask! i will help you help me as much as I can! Thanks Mike
♥Vger Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 This is not going to be easy for you if you have no experience with osCommerce, and all we can do is advise, we can't actually do it for you. What you need is a Contribution called Easy Populate (Community --> Contributions --> Easy Populate). You then have to install it, and then work out how to use it with the file you have. Vger
