2 Columns for product listing

Hi everyone, I need your help again :(

 

I have a lot of products to display in some categories (something like 50 or so), and now I dont want people scrolling into nirvana and I dont want them to hit Next Page all the time either, so I was thinking: it would be great to have 2 columns displaying lets say 5-6 products each, that way I'd have 12 or so products on each page and wouldn't have to worry about scrolling or excessive clicking.

 

I searched in the contributions list but couldn't find anything that'd do exactly what I needed to, I found "Product Listing view change" but thats not at all what I want because I want exactly the same layout as in the standard view, i just want 2 columns of products.

 

Is there any fix for my problem?

THere is a contribution available, cant remember the name, might well be the product listing view mod. You might just have to modify it slightly to work how you want it to.
