phil81uk Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 The strangest problem seems to be occuring. Four customers have complained that when they checkout in my store then another customers details appear in the shipping address! I have tested the store myself many times, and from three computers, yet it always works fine for me. But of the 60 or so orders I've had, four customers have reported this as happening. I've also tried it with and without cookies enabled in my browser. The store uses a regular (latest) version of OSC, which has had teh graphics changed, and some minor contributions such as more postage modules, a gift-wrapping option, categries display on the home page. Any suggestions welcome as I am struggling to find an answer.

You should set the sessions storage (last parameter) to mysql. :-) Monika addicted to writing code ... can't get enough of databases either, LOL! my toolbox: Textpad - Compare and Merge - phpMyAdmin - WS_FTP - Photoshop - How to search the forum Interactive Media Award July 2007 ~ category E-Commerce my advice on the forum is for free, PMs where you send me work are considered consultation which I charge for ...
phil81uk Posted September 29, 2005 Author Posted September 29, 2005 Hi, I've made that change and will have to hope now! Philip
phil81uk Posted October 1, 2005 Author Posted October 1, 2005 I've changed it to use mysql session storage. Hopefully this won't recurr. However there is still a problem with one of the customers to whom this happened before I changed the setting. When this customer logs into her account she sees the details of another customer . I changed her password in the mysql database to my own and logged into her account to see this happen. Alas, everything seemed fine and I could only see her details. However she maintained that when she logs in then she see's another customers details. Also when I go to the "Who's online" option in the control panel I cannot see her online, but instead I see the name of the customer who's details she is seeing. It is as though she is logging into someone elses account! I'm really stumped for what to try next.

That should do the trick.
