Problem With Firefox

Hi all,

 

 

 

Just noticed a big problem with OSC. I installed Firefox browser, added items to cart and then went through checkout.

 

 

 

When the transfer to the secure https:.com/catalog/checkout_shipping.php? takes place the items in the cart change to a previous test order. I have never used Firefox before. There is no problem when using IE.

 

 

Other customers sometimes complain they cannot checkout and here is the last customer who gave feedback ?

I am having difficulty checking-out. When I attempt to check out,

 

the items from my previous order replace the items I just placed in my

 

shopping cart. The old items replace the new items in the \"Shopping Cart\" box in

 

the upper right of the window, and in the checkout process. In addition, the

 

total price shown in the checkout process (just prior to order

 

confirmation) is that of my prior order, not that of the current items in my

 

shopping cart. I\'ve tried clearing the cart and re-entering items, but

 

during the checkout procedure the items are replaced by those in my previous

 

order. Would you please clear the previous items out of my shopping cart,

 

or please inform me how I might do this myself? Thank you for your

 

assistance with this problem.

 

 

 

I was using the (Apple) Safari browser when I first encountered the

 

problem. Then I tired Netscape (7.2 for Mac) and MS Internet

 

Explorer (5.2 for Mac), and they both had the same problem.

Yes! I am having the same kind of problem!

 

My shop works fine in MSIE, but when i try to place an order in firefox, it doesnt work, the shopping cart doesnt empty and the order is not placed.

 

What could cause this?

Is session storage set to mysql in the configure files?

did anyone ever find a solution to this? I have customer that is a MAC user that cannot complete checout. They keep getting returned to the shopping cart.

this statement :

 

$cart->reset(true);

 

in checkout_process empties the cart in the session and DB.

 

Maybe the code never gets there, trace it.
