tuneresource Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I've looked through the contributions & forums and haven't found a solution. I currently have 4 separate osc stores on 4 different hosting plans because of disk space issues. My problem is that I need to merge/integrate the 4 stores into one. Here are the details: Tuneresource.com - Blues Store= 3G (Blues music) Tuneresource.com - Jazz Store= 3G (Jazz music) Tuneresource.com - Country store=2G (Country music) Tuneresource.com - Classical Store=2G (Classical music) Each site has MP3 music packages for sale. If someone adds an item to their cart on the Blues site, then moves to the Jazz store and adds another item to their cart, then goes to check out while in the Jazz store, they will only find the Jazz music package in their cart. Is there anyway to integrate or merge the carts into one? I'm forced to use 4 separate hosting plans because the hosting company Netfirms.com only offers a maximum of 3Gs per plan. (BTW...I'm not slagging Netfirms -- they've been great to me). I need a minimum of 10G. Are there any solutions out there? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Cindy
FalseDawn Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 No, there's no (practical) way to integrate 4 separate stores. You would need to create a new one and move all products into that. 10GB of space is a lot - you will be looking at getting a dedicated server for that. Some VPS plans also offer that much, but cost will be at least $50 a month and a lot more for a dedicated.

Four NetFirms accounts @ $14.95/mo = $59.80 Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)
tuneresource Posted September 24, 2005 Author Posted September 24, 2005 Thanks for the info. I appreciate your feedback. I'll look into that option. Cindy
