Strange happenings after move to root

finally got site to comeup as root

BUT

the little gifs are back and i have went thru again and pixel_trans is where it should be

and

when click o another page it get this error

Unable to connect to database server!

 

Password correct.

 

Any insight? I'm bad confused.

Is your osc catalog in the root of your domain? if so you still have the /catalog/ somewhere in your configuration files.
