ifacedev Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Hi all, I have set up an store shoppe1.com. Everything seems to work fine. I have loaded a product to test checkout but when I click on checkout after adding the product in cart using Mozila Firefox 1.0.4, It gives me error:- The connection to www.shopp1.com has terminated unexpectedly. Some data may have been transfered. But when I check out using Internet Explorer 6.0, It gives me error:- The page can not be displayed I have made it sure that checkout_shipping.php is uploaded accurately. I have set up only table rate shipping module. Can anybody suggest me something? Regards, Quote
ifacedev Posted September 24, 2005 Author Posted September 24, 2005 I have just discovered that the same situation is with "login" & "Register" pages. I checked the demo of osCommerce. When I click in this demo to checkout, it asked me to accept SSL certificate. Do I need a SSL certificate? Quote
Guest Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I checked the demo of osCommerce. When I click in this demo to checkout, it asked me to accept SSL certificate. Do I need a SSL certificate? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes - but you can turn this off. In /includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php set: define('ENABLE_SSL', false); When your store is ready to go live it is recommended that you have an SSL certificate installed :D Matti Quote
