Dhtml Menus

I want to put some nice tabbed menus in the header

and change the sad category menu to something like the

coolmenu contribution.

 

I downloaded the coolmenu but since have read a lot

stuff here about it having problems rendering in different

browsers and resolutions and it has been outdated by better

contributions.

 

What are some of the better contributions and/or sites with

tutorials for changing or creating the header and catgory menus?

 

I know there must be a few out there as I have seen

some nice ones in some of the live shops around the

world.

 

So what path should I be searching
