Product Attributes Display?

Hello all,

 

I am slowly moving through all the mods i wish to make to my store and gradually getting my appreance how I want it but one thing is troubling me!

 

 

I want a new way of displaying my attributes for my products -

 

My site is at http://www.shop4beds.co.uk, if you look at a product you will see the way it is displaying the sizes and options associated with them.

 

Can i do this with oscommerce?

 

As you can see 1 product could have 6 size variations 2 types of each of these and upto 6 drawer options some of them also have a firmness option - suddenly my little dropdowns are gonna get complicated!

 

 

Any ideas? I have looked through the contributions but have not seen one that seem to address my display probs.

I guess you are referring to the tabs?

There are some tab contributions. I am not sure if the interact directly with the arguments (it may be something you will have to add/modify)

the tabs may work - if the tabs wer 2ft 6 | 3ft | 4ft etc. etc.

 

and the part each tab loads is the list of drawer options?

Yes I understand, you have to associate the product attributes with the tab labels. (not in the code I think) Once this is done, all attributes associated will appear as tabs. You can even have multiple rows of separate sets of attributes. You can do that but will require code mods.

 

Also on your page I think the code is css driven this contribution is jscript. There is another navigation style tab that is static. I think is called category tabs. From it you can see how it parses the dbase tables setting up the tab images with the categories text (in that case).
