jackat Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 When I installed osC I didn't have the foresite to set up the right security (SSL) beforehand. I'm doing so now with my hosting provider, and need to know how to update my osC account to reflect this change...? Thanks for your help, Jack
kgt Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I'm not sure what you mean by "OSC account." You need to change includes/configure.php to use your secure server information. If you want the admin section secure (and you should), you also need to change admin/includes/configure.php Contributions Discount Coupon Codes Donations

You say I should change the file includes/configure.php, but where should I change this file and what should I change from/to??? Thanks for your help!
Guest Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 you should open the file and read it, only has about 20 lines and you will find it.
BenFremer Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I have a similar problem. I am trying to fix up the site http://www.tdiproducts.net , when I enable SSL, (trying to use a shared SSL certificate from tigertech.net), users can no longer register as a new customer. If you try it, it just refreshes the "new customer" form, leaving you to fill it out, endlessly, without progress. Is this just a problem with the configure.php files' code? Thanks, Ben
