Turned oscommerce off Than on

Good morning.

I was having trouble getting to the e shop config. screen (ended up browser problems) however I did shut off oscommerce, than turned it back on.

Now all my info is gone,tryed to do a back up but does not seem to take, may be doing this wrong?

Do I need to reset oscommerce?

All seems to be sitting there if I go ftp to my site. :blink:

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

In H-Sphere control panel edit oscommerce page there is a row of buttons.

 

they are: on,reset oscommerce, upgrade oscommerce,your e-shop, and the button I normally push e-shop configuration. Normally I hit e-shop conf. to go to the screen for adding product,etc.

However when my browser was not working I thought it was something in oscommerce and made the mistake of turning the oscommerce off than back on.

Looks like everything is back to the default set up.

I don't know if anyone here knows how H-Sphere works, but it would help us help you if you asked your host what turning OSCommerce "off" does. Regardless, restoring from a backup should restore your products, so something is not working right.

i find the ezy way to turn of commerce is to chmod the catalog folder ftp side if its (i dont wont trafficon me site for a sql backup)
