Only "tep_database-pr2.2-CVS.pdf" has a file extention listed. What should the others be, and are these related to the install or just additional information ?

Please help !?!

The 'extras' folder is not needed, and neither are the files outside of the folder structure.

Anytime you have a file on your computer that does not have a file type you can just rename it and give it a file type (usually .txt).

Thanks Vger,

I had added .txt to these external files and realised that i could read them, but wasnt sure if that was the correct thing to do [i thought the install may call them in or something]

How does my structure look to you ?

Thanks for your post.

Normally, if you want the website to appear in a folder called 'catalog' (http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog'>http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog), then all you need to do is to upload the 'catalog' folder in its entirity to your web root and then the structure is correct. You would then go to http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/install to begin the install procedure.

However, if you want the site to be in the root (http://www.yourdomain.com) then you upload the contents of the catalog folder, but not the folder wrapper itself. You would then go to http://www.yourdomain.com/install to begin the install

Read the 'Quick Install Guide' link below my name for a basic rundown of what you need to know and do.
