Setting Up USPS

Hello,

 

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with setting up USPS as a shipper? I don't really know if I should use UPS or USPS but I was trying to set up USPS anyway and I opened an account with USPS but it says that there is some error in the way that I set it up in my "shipping" area. It also asks me in the "Shipping" area something about which server to use;either "test" or "production" and I don't know what that's all about. Could anyone give me some pointers on how to set up and maybe which might be better? UPS or USPS?

you need to have usps set your account to the production server
