Jesse J Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I have a client using OSC that is looking to get her products listed on Amazon and she sees some of her compeditor's products are listed there. Does anyone know how this works and what their commission is? Is there a plugin to make this seamless? Thanks for your help :D
Guest Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 isn't amazon an actual company? by what you're asking, they are an ebay-ish type site?
AllTheAbove Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 isn't amazon an actual company? by what you're asking, they are an ebay-ish type site? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They do have an area where you can sell your products.. i think they have both the auction-type and shop-type..
FalseDawn Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I believe commission is 15%. Not worth it IMO, unless you have high margin, niche products.
radders Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Yes for Marketplace it is 15% (plus VAT) which isn't too bad considering they handle all the payments for you, and advertise on the comparison shopping sites but there's a ?25 monthly charge too (for their Pro Merchant volume seller service which sounds like the one you want) . The feed is tab-delimited file. I haven't seen a specifc feed contribution for it but it should be pretty easy to adapt one of the others to handle this. Try talking to one of their agents.
