How do you set the admin password?

I know I need to edit the .htaccess file in the admin directory. But I think there is some other file where I need to specify the username and password.

 

Right now anyone can access my admin - not cool. I want it to require a username & password. Can anyone tell me what to edit to do this.

Go to your web hosting control panel and look for the Password Protect or Directory Protection feature. This will write the .htaccess and .htpasswd files for you.
