Modifying products to use for 'services'

I'm trying out osC to use for a new service i'm offering my clients. I don't know php very well, so thought perhaps this would be faster than trying to set up forms myself from scratch.

 

My services could be added as 'products' to the system, but I need more information from my clients -- either as additional text fields (plus one or two drop downs/radio buttons) to the customers.php or to each individual product.

 

Best way would probably be to add to the customer information, but if products is easier to modify, I can make it work too.

 

Is there an easy way to do this? Or anyone need more information from me?
