osCommercer Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 I just received a call from UPS sale representative and the lady asked me "Do I need to set-up account right now" :( Then i check my caller ID it shows me that she wasn't using UPS #s but it's her cell phone. I wonder if someone has the same situation like me? I don't want to give my information thru phone you know lol man this is sooooooooooooooo weird........ :blink: Quote
Guest Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 ups does not solicit for accounts that way, someone just wanting your cc #. as with anything, if someone needs an account, tell the individual you will call them back via the customer service # (which is always the one on any truck on any carrier, etc) and ask for their extension/department. this will let u know they are not legit in a heartbeat Quote
